Property study reveals the cheapest locations across Europe for extended garden sunshine!
Interested in ranking the areas across Europe where property owners pay the least for the most sunshine, mortgage experts at money.co.uk trawled through RightMove to discover median property prices in hundreds of locations across Europe. They then cross-referenced these locations with the Surface Solar Radiation Dataset from EUMETSAT, which allowed money.co.uk to rank the locations in Europe where sunshine costs the least.
Some key findings include:
- Bulgaria and Italy possess the top 10 locations for cheapest properties and the most sunshine hours
- Portugal just missed out on a top 10 spot
- The study examines more than 200 locations across 18 different countries within Europe
